How to Draw a Cocker Spaniel
Step: 1
First, draw a simple curved line for the back of the Cocker Spaniel’s head and a small circle for the nose. Then, add a curved line from the nose to show the start of the muzzle.
Step: 2
Next, draw two big round eyes above the nose area. Sketch a small oval for the nose and curved lines for the mouth. Add a few dots around the muzzle for whisker marks.
Step: 3
Draw the first ear by starting at the top of the head and curving down to the bottom of the muzzle. Make the ear slightly wavy to show the fur texture. Add a few lines to detail the forehead and side of the head.
Step: 4
Draw the second ear on the other side to match the first one. Add wavy lines to the fur around the head to show fluffiness. Make sure both ears are the same size and shape.
Step: 5
Draw a curved line from the head down to create the back. Then, draw another line from below the ear, curving down to form the chest and front leg. These lines will outline the basic shape of the Cocker Spaniel’s body.
Step: 6
Draw the legs by extending lines down from the body. Add small curves at the bottom for the paws. Draw the tail with a curved line from the back, making it slightly wavy to show the fur texture.
Step: 7
Now, draw another front leg by mirroring the first one.
Step: 8
Continue drawing to complete the hind legs and other details.
Step: 9
Add a furry tail and highlight some furr body texture to complete the drawing.
Step: 10
Finally, color your drawing. Cocker Spaniels usually have a mix of brown, white, and black. Use brown for the ears and parts of the body, white for the face and chest, and black for the eyes and nose. These colors will make your drawing look more realistic and lively.
