The rope is waved gently on the ground like a slithering snake while other kids attempt to jump over it. Kids can take turns to be the jumper, and the snake wavers.
Banana Split
The banana split jump rope game doesn’t include jumping, but it depends more on the timing of the swinging rope. A long jump rope and two people to turn the rope are required in this game.
The other players form a line so that the first person in the line faces the rope. The rope turners swing the rope forward towards the line and then away from it. The task for the first person is to run under the rope and get back without letting it touch the body.
After the initial pass, the second person in line joins, and both players run under the rope avoiding any touch.
Then the third person joins in, and this continues unless someone has touched the rope while running under it or jumping over it.
Partner Jumping
A “partner jumping jump rope game” is a variation of the traditional jump rope game where two players jump rope together, with one player holding each end of the rope.
