Earth Rotation And Revolution Facts

Did you know that Earth’s rotation and revolution are responsible for the cycle of day and night and the changing seasons? Earth rotates on its axis once every 24 hours, causing day and night as different parts of the planet face the Sun. At the same time, Earth revolves around the Sun, completing one orbit every 365.25 days. This revolution, combined with the tilt of Earth’s axis, leads to the different seasons as various parts of the Earth receive varying amounts of sunlight throughout the year.
