Pacific Oceans Facts

The Pacific Ocean is the largest and deepest ocean on Earth, covering more than 30% of the planet’s surface. Its vast expanse stretches from the Arctic in the north to the Antarctic in the south, bordered by Asia and Australia to the west and the Americas to the east. This immense body of water is home to a diverse array of marine life, including whales, dolphins, sharks, and countless species of fish. Its waters also host some of the most remote and pristine island chains, such as Hawaii, Fiji, and the Galápagos Islands.
