Sea Turtle Facts

Did you know that sea turtles have been swimming in the world’s oceans for over 100 million years? There are seven species of sea turtles, including the leatherback, green, and hawksbill turtles. These incredible creatures migrate long distances between feeding grounds and nesting sites. Female sea turtles return to the same beaches where they were born to lay their eggs. Unfortunately, sea turtles face many threats, including habitat loss, pollution, and fishing nets.
